love this, so bright/sharp/clean, especially the way the board initially seems thickly solid, a weird illusory effect that is causing arguments with my eyes, and seems very strange to see a board for once without any kind of border, gives me that 'careful you don't fall off the edge' feeling.
ty, it's the Bryce option to make an HDRI backdrop out of the current sky, it worked pretty well this time... took like 12 hours to anti-alias on my old machine lol.
Holy Hell!!! I have only managed to make myself a Rook in Bryce, and even that I had trouble with. I take my hat off to you, my friend, for this outstandingly modeled chess-set. The curves on the Knight's ears is just... wow!
Well the knight's heads are made in Poser and imported into Bryce... The base and all of the other pieces are made with metaballs and regular primitives.
Thanks for the explanation about the Knight. I could spot the regular primitives from Bryce, but how you managed to make such an accurate horse's head with Bryce's primitives left me rather puzzled. A beautiful piece!
